December and then the Christmas Season is around the corner. We have different family events and a special sermon series called, "Calm & Bright" based on the hymn "Silent Night" to bring in the hope of Christ into our hearts and families. We invite you to join us in December and enjoy the holidays with us.

Joyful Morning Choir - Practice
Join the choir every Wednesday night at 6 PM. Our church choir is working on special music for our Christmas Eve Services. The choir is seeking new members who would like to join. All experience levels are welcome. They especially need lower voices, such as tenor and bass. The choir rehearses most Wednesday evenings from 6-8 PM in our church sanctuary. If you would like to join, please either come any Wednesday evening, or e-mail the church office to contact Dolly Coulter, the choir director.
MCC Christmas Party - Friday, December 21 from 6 PM - 9 PM
Our Annual Christmas Party kicks off our Christmas Week with a fun time of finger foods, appetizers, warm beverages, holiday music and fellowship. This year we want to introduce an "Ugly Christmas Sweater" contest. What this entails is that remember those tacky and weird sweaters people might give you as a gift that you could only wear once a year? Even then, it was a struggle? Now people are actually wanting to make or buy these "ugly" sweaters to wear to parties and be funny. That's what we want everyone to do. Find a sweater, pull-over, button-down, cardigan, what have you, and use your creativity and deck the sweater out with garland, ornaments, and mistletoe, or find funny faces to sew on. Google "ugly sweater" to get some cute ideas. Please nothing too naughty, or else, we may find some coal lumps for that effort! Also, we will be having a gift exchange game, please limit the wrapped gift to no more than $20 per person. Do not put your name on it or gifting for a certain person. Each person who brings a gift, will be able to get one in return. If you are able to bring something for the potluck, we are encouraging finger foods, or desserts. See you there.
Christmas Eve Service - Monday, December 24 - Time 7 PM
Our Music Ministry will be having Christmas Carols and special musical numbers, along with Scripture Readings of the birth of Christ. Everyone is invited. We will be celebrating communion and a candlelight carols.
